The story so far

Coming from a food & wine background in the UK, Alex came to the Barossa in 2014 to follow his dream of making wine.

In between vintages at St Hallett, Massena and Rockford wines he has pursued winemaking independently, producing small quantities of wine made with high quality parcels of fruit.

As part-owner of Harvest Kitchen restaurant, with its focus on local & seasonal produce, Alex loves to share his passion for food and wine with locals and visitors alike!

Hauswine is the result of that passion and a love of Australia’s stunning flora and fauna and the Barossa’s unique heritage.

Made using minimal intervention to retain unique expressions of terroir, we source sustainably farmed grapes  from like-minded growers to help promote biodiversity in the vineyard and beyond.
